The technology center comprises a team of software engineering and technology experts based in Malaysia, Bangalore, and Singapore, who would work to streamline the airasia Digital assets such as its websites and mobile apps along with creating and implementing new products and enhancements such as AI-powered chatbot, facial recognition technology, among others, for a seamless customer journey.

  • Serve as a key member of our Product Engineering team and contribute to establishing best technical practices

  • Translate business requirements and objectives into technical applications and solutions

  • Partner with Product and UX to design, implement, and deploy a system that turns customer experience from mundane to magical

  • Improve, maintain, and execute automated functional, regression, acceptance, and performance testing codebase

  • Codes, and debugs a variety of automation-related software features and tools

  • Executes tests for applications and services to provide proper test coverage

  • Implements and maintains testing frameworks and solutions for software products

  • Motivates and empowers teammates to achieve a higher level of performance

Required Experience

  • 3-6 Years of relevant experience

  • Must be able to code in Go or Java

  • Familiarity with Gin or Spring Boot is highly desirable

  • Good understanding of test pyramid and its strategy

  • Experience with automation frameworks and tests using a variety of technologies

  • Proficient with bug tracking and test management toolsets to support development processes

  • Knowledge in CI/CD is highly advantageous

  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum Methodologies

  • Familiarity with application release strategy

Bonus Points

  • Proficiency in any of these frameworks: React, React Native

  • Proficiency in any of these languages: Dart, Kotlin, Swift, JavaScript

  • Proficiency in any of these technology domains: Travel, Mobile, Finance, Commerce

  • Performance and Security testing experience
